- How do you do this for only $399?
We have been helping entrepreneurs get their business on-line since 1994. This is not brain surgery, and does not need to be as confusing as others make it. We know how to build web sites and do so efficiently.
- Isn't 6% high for credit card processing?
Fist off, if you are shipping your products, the processor we use charges only 3% plus 30¢ per transaction. If you are delivering your products online (like software or e-books) then we'll use the processor who charges a little more. Mainly for two reasons, security and services. First, they have a better way of hiding where your download pages are so people who don't pay cannot find your products. Secondly, they offer an automatic affiliate program where you can offer other people commissions for linking to your site. Remember, you don't need to print or ship your product with this opiton. Your product is delivered online, immediately.
- Do I need a credit card?
No. If you pay your hosting with a credit card, we will automatically bill your card monthly. If you wish to pay by check or money order, we will bill you the $19.95 monthly hosting quarterly in advance.
- How long does it take to get up and running?
Usually 7-10 days once we have all the information.
- I don't understand what you mean by a "page"?
We'll take up to 5 "pages" of information and create a web site. A "page" is an 8½ X 11" sheet of paper filled with text and pictures. We may take these 5 pages and create a 7 page web site. We will look at it and lay it out in the most logical manner.
- What if I have more than 5 products?
No problem. Add products for only $10 each additional if you have pictures that need to be scanned.
- Do I need to "lay out" my site the way I want it to look?
Not unless you want to. If you just send us the "raw" text and pictures, we'll take that information and create the site in the most logical manner. Most people do it this way, but you can lay it out if you would prefer.
- If this does not work out, am I stuck with it for 6 months or a year?
No. There are no long term contracts. This is a monthly arrangement. You can cancel anytime, we just need 10 days notice before the end of a calendar month.
- Will I be listed in search engines?
We will submit your site to all the major search engines, but we cannot guarantee that they will take the listing. Some search engines, like LookSmart, now charge for a listing. You will need to decide if you want to list with them.
